Regardless of what side of the Roe vs Wade side you are on (we only deal with the camera issue), plate reader data can be turned on any group of any party. Years ago there was a plate reader used against citizens at a political rally. Absolute power corrupts as they say.
Known as ALPRs, this surveillance tech is pervasive across the US–and could soon be used by police and anti-abortion groups alike.
